I had a wonderful time filming this segment with Bill Anderson and the rest of the Fox 29 crew. We were originally going on air on January 23, but winter storm Jonas came along and dumped two feet of snow across the entire region. In the middle of taping the segment, Bill commented to me about how amazed he was that he was getting paid to hang out and drink hot chocolate. A few days later I spotted Bill, seemingly having drawn the short straw, out in the middle of the blizzard, reporting on how bad the conditions were. I certainly hope that his memory of drinking hot chocolate back in the studio kept him warm. I can’t wait to film some more segments with these guys. It was a blast.
